The goal of this Expert Conference is to provide the rapid development and most recent updates of the novel ALPPS (Associating Liver Partition and Portal Vein Ligation for Staged Hepatectomy) procedure as an increasingly performed variant of the two-stage hepatectomy approach.

The sessions will cover the key topics

  • Surgical Techniques
  • Liver Volume and Function
  • Oncological Outcome

The course is set up as an expert conference and we are pleased to present international experts of moderators and speakers who have continuously contributed to the development of this procedure. The target audience is directed to junior as well as senior hepatobiliary surgeons who are interested in this complex procedure.
